Online Learning Opportunities
VOL
VOL is a full-time, comprehensive VCS school that serves students in grades K-12. Families who choose VOL want a virtual alternative to the traditional school setting that leads to a high school diploma. Typically, parents and students want additional flexibility while maintaining the pace, structure, and service of a brick-and-mortar school.

VFlex
VFlex is the VCS version of FLVS Flex. We offer courses to supplement students’ current brick-and-mortar schedule. Thousands of Flex courses are taken each year by VCS students. Our hope is that you can help VFlex be the leading provider of virtual courses for Volusia County students and families. We have recently implemented several systems to make it easier to request courses and track student progress while also expanding our course offerings to meet the needs of our shared students.

VFlex+
VFlex+ is a part-time program designed for Home Education students who want the full-time experience without the full-time requirements. VFlex+ students can take up to six courses and receive academic counseling and support to help them maintain a pathway to a high school diploma, should they ever return as a full-time student. Our goal is for all VFlex+ students to eventually enroll back into VCS as a full-time student, be it in VOL or their zoned school.
