The Spirit PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a non-profit organization made up of the parents and staff of Spirit Elementary School. The purpose of our PTO is to promote the welfare of children in the school, home and community; to enrich the education of children; and to foster communication, understanding, cooperation and a sense of community among students, parents, and faculty and school administrators. Each year, the PTO and volunteers at Spirit plan and coordinate fundraising events to provide many exciting learning opportunities, social activities and enriching programs for the students. Funds raised by the PTO are then dispersed to activities, equipment, and educational tools within our school. We are very appreciative of the wonderful volunteers that give their time and talents to help make Spirit a wonderful place to learn. As officers of the PTO, we strongly encourage you to get involved with your students scholastic career. This can be accomplished in various ways. There are many opportunities to do things from home as well as at the school. The PTO can only be as successful as its family of members, so please join us in helping our children's precious years of elementary school become wonderful memories in the future.
